The holidays are here again, meaning it’s time to get a head start on your Christmas shopping. If you’re as into fashion as we are, you are probably aware that you can cover most of the women in your life with a combination of fashion accessories and fashionable pieces, whether they are handmade or store bought. Here are some of our favorite Christmas 2013 gifts for women:
- While you may think of Claire’s and Icing as more juvenile stores, they do carry many stylish, affordable pieces that girls from five to women of 35 will enjoy. Look at their satchels, headbands, long necklaces, earmuffs, earrings, and more, for gift ideas this year.
- If you have the know-how, you can always knit or stitch a lovely gift and add a finishing touch with a custom clothing label that has a personalized message on it. You could opt for simple name labels, or more intricate sew-in labels with a special Christmas message or quote, but, either way, your loved ones are sure to love these gifts.
- Makeup is expensive, and no woman ever has enough. For makeup, we recommend visiting a slightly more upscale makeup department, like that in Sephora, Macy’s or Ulta, and choosing a slightly more expensive eye shadow pallet or lipstick. If you do this, you need to be sure you know what colors go well with your woman’s skin tone, or get a gift receipt, so that she can exchange the color you choose if it isn’t a good match.
